We recently installed new windows. Not only did the house get incredibly quiet but we also had a huge savings each month. It's not too surprising as our old windows were ancient wooden ones but the difference was incredible. I have been researching how to reduce energy consumption in my home as well as wind and solar generation. I thought it would be harder to change, but it really isn't.
